The Religious Conversion of Women in Interfaith Marriages from Christianity to Islam: Reconstructing identity in the dialogue with self and others

Abstract

This research aims to understand the phenomenon of the religious conversion of women in interfaith marriages from Christianity to Islam. First of all this paper explores the idea of a change of the self-identity of converts and the correlation between attachment to the family of origin of converted women and their decision to change their religion.
