Abstract: This article is devoted to the author’s vision of the future development of the Kyrgyz Republic. He sees the major purpose in ensuring the stable economic growth of the country. This problem is complex and requires serious changes not only in economic sphere but in political and social ones as well. The major reason of the failure in solving the problem is very low level of economic freedom in the country leading to a great deal of negative phenomena: corruption, crime etc., and as a result to a low economic growth and living standard. The solution to the problem is in providing radical institutional reforms, which have to guarantee a high level of economic freedom. Strangely enough, presently only a “strong” government authority can ensure the achievement of the high level of the economic freedom.
